Tubidy MP3 & MP4 Music Downloader

Paste a YouTube link. Keep the song as MP3 or the video as MP4.

Works with YouTube, Shorts and youtu.be links. Only save videos you have the right to keep.

    What is Tubidy?

Tubidy is a free tool that turns a YouTube link into a file you can keep on your phone or computer. Copy the link of a song, a music video or a Short, paste it in the box above and choose what you want: an MP3 for listening, or an MP4 when you want the picture too. Everything happens right here on this page, in the browser you already use.

Before you tap anything, Tubidy shows every video quality from 144p up to 1080p, each with its real file size, plus MP3 audio at 320, 256, 192 or 128 kbps. That makes it easy to choose a file that suits your phone storage and your data bundle. There is no account to create and no app to install.

    Why people use Tubidy

    See the size first

Every video quality shows its file size before you start, so you always know how much data and space a download will take.

Every quality from 144p to 1080p

Pick sharp 1080p or 720p for a big screen, or 360p, 240p and 144p when something light is enough for your phone.

    Shorts and phone links work

Links from the YouTube app, youtu.be share links, m.youtube links, Shorts and links that sit inside a playlist all work.

    Nothing to install

Tubidy runs in Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet or any other modern browser, so your phone stays free of extra apps.

    No account needed

There is no sign-up, no login and no email address to hand over. Paste a link and you are ready to go.

    Instant download links

No waiting for a file to be made. Tap a quality and it opens straight away in a new tab, even for long videos.

How to download music with Tubidy

    1. Copy the link

In the YouTube app, tap Share and then Copy link. On a computer, copy the address from the bar at the top of your browser.

    2. Paste it into Tubidy

Paste the link in the box at the top of this page. Tubidy starts on its own, or you can tap Convert.

    3. Pick MP3 or MP4 and save

Tap Get next to the quality you want. The file opens straight away in a new tab, ready to save to your device.

MP3 or MP4: pick your sound

Every track you add gets both options, so you can decide song by song.

    MP3 audio

Best for songs, podcasts, DJ mixes and voice clips.

Just the sound, in a light file that plays in any music app, in the car or on a Bluetooth speaker.

    • 320 kbps
    • 256 kbps
    • 192 kbps
    • 128 kbps

    MP4 video

Best for music videos, dance clips, Shorts and anything you want to watch.

Picture and sound together. Choose a lower quality to keep the file small, or 1080p when the screen is big.

    • 1080p
    • 720p
    • 480p
    • 360p
    • 240p
    • 144p

    Save data on your phone

Data bundles are not cheap, so here are three easy ways to get more out of every megabyte:

    1. Choose MP3 when you only want the song. An audio file is much smaller than a video of the same track.
    2. For video on a small bundle, 240p or 144p is enough for a phone screen.
    3. Keep 720p and 1080p for when you are on Wi-Fi.

Example sizes for a 3-minute song

    • MP3 audio: about 3 MB
    • MP4 720p: about 13 MB
    • MP4 144p: about 1 MB

Sizes depend on the video. The exact size of every option shows before you tap.

    Questions about Tubidy

    Is Tubidy free?

Yes. Tubidy is free to use. You don't need an account or an app, and we don't set a daily limit on how many songs or videos you can save.

Which formats and qualities can I download?

You can save audio as MP3 at 320, 256, 192 or 128 kbps, and video as MP4 in 1080p, 720p, 480p, 360p, 240p or 144p. We list the qualities each video really has, up to 1080p.

How do I save a song on my Android phone?

Paste the link and tap Get next to the MP3 quality you want. The song opens in a new tab; if it starts playing, tap the ⋮ menu and choose Download. It then goes to your Downloads folder, where your music app or the Files app can open it.

How do I save music on an iPhone?

Open Tubidy in Safari, paste the link and tap Get. When the song opens, tap the Share button and choose Save to Files. Safari keeps it in the Files app, where you can play it or share it.

Does Tubidy work with Shorts and youtu.be links?

Yes. Shorts, youtu.be share links, m.youtube links and YouTube Music links all work. If your link is part of a playlist, only that one video is saved.

    How long does it take?

Only a moment. The list of qualities shows up within a second or two, and when you tap Get the file opens straight away, even for long videos.

Why does the file play instead of downloading?

Some browsers play audio and video files as soon as they open them. To keep the file, tap the ⋮ menu or the download arrow and choose Download. On an iPhone, tap Share and then Save to Files.

Why can't some videos be downloaded?

Videos that are private, removed, or blocked by age or region can't be saved. If that happens, check the link or try another video.

    Use it fairly

Tubidy is meant for personal use. Please only save songs and videos you have the right to keep, such as your own uploads, free-to-use tracks or content the owner allows you to download. Respect the artists who make the music you love. Our Terms and Conditions explain the full rules.
