What is the best quality I can get?
1080p (Full HD), when the video has it. We list every quality the video offers, from 1080p down to 144p.
Why is 360p sometimes bigger than 480p?
It depends on how YouTube encoded that video. Each quality is compressed in its own way, so the sizes don't always go in order. We always show the real size, so you can compare before you tap.
Can I save Shorts as MP4?
Yes. Paste the Shorts link like any other. The MP4 stays vertical, just as it looks in the YouTube app.
Where do my videos go on Android and iPhone?
On Android, look in the Downloads folder or your Gallery app. On iPhone, Safari saves videos to the Files app under Downloads; from there, tap Share and choose Save Video to add it to Photos.
Why is a quality missing from the list?
We only list the qualities the video really has, up to 1080p. An older or low-resolution upload may stop at 480p or 360p.
Is there a daily limit?
We don't set one. If the service is very busy, you may see a message asking you to try again a little later.
