Turn YouTube videos into MP3 songs

Found a song on YouTube that you want to play offline? Paste its link above and Tubidy gives you the sound as an MP3 audio file, straight away. You can choose 320, 256, 192 or 128 kbps, and 320 kbps is marked as the best pick for you.

The MP3 plays in any music player on Android, iPhone, Windows or Mac, and you can copy it to a memory card or a speaker. It works for songs, live sessions, podcasts and even DJ mixes that run for hours.

How to convert YouTube to MP3

    1. Copy the video link

Open the video on YouTube, tap Share and choose Copy link, or copy it from the address bar.

    2. Paste and convert

Paste the link in the box above. Tubidy fetches the song by itself, or you can tap Convert.

    3. Save your MP3

Tap Get next to 320 kbps, or another quality. Your MP3 opens in a new tab right away, ready to save.

    Where your MP3 is saved

    Android

Most phones put the file in the Downloads folder. Open it from the Files app, or find it in your music player under recently added songs.

    iPhone

Safari saves it to the Files app, in the Downloads folder. Tap the file to play it, or use Share to send it to another app.

    Computer

Your browser puts the MP3 in the Downloads folder. Drag it into your music library or copy it to a USB stick for the car.

    YouTube to MP3 questions

Which MP3 quality should I choose?

320 kbps is marked as the best pick and suits most songs. 256, 192 and 128 kbps are in the list too, if you prefer one of them.

Can I convert a whole playlist?

Not in one go. Tubidy saves one video at a time, so a link from a playlist gives you just that song. Add more songs one after the other; each new link appears at the top of your track list.

Can I save long DJ mixes?

Yes. There is no length limit, and a long mix opens just as fast as a short song. MP3 audio takes about 1 MB per minute, so a two-hour mix is roughly 120 MB.

    Does it work on iPhone?

Yes. Use Safari for the smoothest result. When the MP3 opens after you tap Get, tap Share and choose Save to Files. You will find it in the Files app under Downloads.

    Is it safe and private?

There is no account and nothing to install. We don't keep the links you paste, the files you save or a list of what you download.

Why didn't my MP3 start downloading?

Your browser may play the MP3 instead of saving it. Tap the ⋮ menu and choose Download. Some apps also open links in their own built-in browser, which can block new tabs and downloads, so open this page in Chrome or Safari and tap Get again.
