This policy explains what happens to your information when you use Tubidy. We have kept it short and in plain language.
Who we are
Tubidy ("we", "us") is a free online tool for saving YouTube videos as MP3 or MP4 files. This policy covers every page of our website and the downloader on it. If you have a question about this policy, email us at contact@tubidy.site.
What happens to the link you paste
When you paste a link, it is sent to our server and to a processing partner only to find the download links for that video. We don't keep the links you paste, the files you save or a history of your downloads.
You don't need an account, so we don't ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the tool. We never sell or rent information about you to anyone.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics, a service from Google, to count visits and see which pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser (such as _ga), and Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. We still show no ads, you don't need an account, and we don't keep the links you paste or the files you download.
If you change the appearance setting at the bottom of the page, your choice (Auto, Light or Dark) is saved in your own browser so the site remembers it. It stays on your device.
Hosting and network providers
Like every website, Tubidy runs on hosting and network providers. They may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and keep the service secure. We don't use this data to identify you or to build a profile of you.
Thumbnails and files
Video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube's image servers, so YouTube may see that request. When you tap Get, the file opens straight from YouTube's video servers. As with any website that sends you a file, those servers may see your IP address and browser details.
Emails and messages
If you email us or send a message through our contact form, we use what you send only to answer you.
Children
Tubidy is not aimed at young children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal details, email us and we will delete them.
Your rights
You can ask what information we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or ask any question about your privacy. Because we keep so little, there is usually nothing stored at all. Just email contact@tubidy.site and we will answer as soon as we can.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the service changes, for example when we add a new feature. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated, and the newest version always applies.
